1. Sani Pass
The Sani Pass is the third highest jeep track in the world
after Tibet and Chile. The Sani Pass is stunning and the views quite incredible.
It has the highest pub in Arica. If possible we can meet mountain raptors,
jackal, black eagle, cape vulture etc. The richness of the flora is always
interesting. |

2. Dolphin Watching- Oribi Gorge & South Coast
Dolphins are common residents off the South Coast with
pods of 30 - 50 Dolphins patrolling up and down just beyond the breakers. We
board our boat and watch the dolphins as close as 50 metres. After this great
experience we head further down the South Coast and inland to the Oribi Gorge,
one of the KwaZulu Natal's most dramatic sights. |

3. Bushman Art (Giant Castle)
One of Africa's Great Cultural Treasures - The Rock Art of
The San Bushmen- can be found in over three hundred caves and shelters, in the
drakensberg. These sensitive depictions of daily life and religious beliefs
remain a legacy to the harmony that these long departed tribes enjoyed with
nature. |

4. Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Drive "Big Five"
The oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa is home to
the "Big Five". We spend half a day game viewing and enjoy lunch at Hill Top
Camp. After lunch, we proceed to: St Lucia, for a boat trip on the estuary and
view Nile Crocodiles, Hippos and variety of birds in a pristine environment. St
Lucia was declared a world heritage site with five Eco-Systems. Unique!!! |

5. Isandlwana
& Rorke's Drift (Anglo-Zulu War 1879)
We visit both battlefields. On 11 January 1879 Five
Brittish Columns cross out of the Brittish Colony of Natal into the Kingdom of
the Zulu Nation under King Cetswayo, Direct decendant of the mighty King Shaka
Zulu.
What followed was a series of bloody tumultous battles that initially threw the
Brittish forces into disarray before ultimately resulting in the crushing of the
proud Zulu Nation, Thsu ending a period of regional military might spanning
sixty years. |
